Alissa Bailey, B.A., M.A., LPCC
Neurofeedback Specialist
Curious by nature, Alissa traveled from state to state before finding a place that felt like home here in Boulder in 2016. Originally from Michigan, she completed her bachelor’s degree at Western Michigan University in the study of Applied Behavior Analysis. Fueled by her fascination with psychology, she’s spent 10 years in a wide variety of mental health roles, including time spent as a facilitator of wellness based psychoeducation, a mindfulness teacher, a behavioral therapist, and even a wilderness therapy guide in Hawaii. Thus, she has cultivated an eclectic approach to helping others in improving their mental health and well-being. She is a current graduate student at Naropa University in their Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Counseling program, and will go on to seek her licensure after graduating in 2023. She is excited by the opportunity to help others gain a deeper awareness of their brain, body, and mind through neurofeedback. In her free time, Alissa enjoys knitting and sewing clothing, reading sci-fi, spending time in nature, and roller skating!
