Mattie Horn, B.S.

Having grown up in Boulder County, Mattie is excited to be back home and occupying an office that faces Boulder’s friendly foothills. With a fondness for the natural world and science, Mattie completed her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Since then, she has worked as an environmental educator in Illinois where she planned and led education programs for school-aged children. Eventually, she hopes to pursue a Masters in Ecology and prepare for a career in conservation science.¬†With previous experience working as an administrative assistant at a private psychiatry practice, Mattie is looking forward to being more involved with clients as a neurofeedback technician. She appreciates the unique, cooperative relationship that is fostered between technician and client through neurofeedback training in an effort to better understand and guide the brain’s plasticity.¬† In her day to day life, Mattie enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, and quality time with her furry companions.
