Mattie Horn, B.S.
Technician
Having grown up in Boulder County, Mattie is excited to be back home and occupying an office that faces Boulder’s friendly foothills. With a fondness for the natural world and science, Mattie completed her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science with a minor in Biology at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Since then, she has worked as an environmental educator in Illinois where she planned and led education programs for school-aged children. Eventually, she hopes to pursue a Masters in Ecology and prepare for a career in conservation science. With previous experience working as an administrative assistant at a private psychiatry practice, Mattie is looking forward to being more involved with clients as a neurofeedback technician. She appreciates the unique, cooperative relationship that is fostered between technician and client through neurofeedback training in an effort to better understand and guide the brain’s plasticity. In her day to day life, Mattie enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, and quality time with her furry companions.
