Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is the CORE of what we do at neuroAgility. The neurofeedback is designed within a performance-motivational model. We often integrate cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based stress reduction delivered by Licensed Masters level Therapists with Board Certification in qEEG/neurofeedback.The combination is a winning strategy.

qEEG Brain Mapping

neuroAgility offers qEEG brain mapping on site at our offices. qEEG gives a picture of brain electrical activity. This is done by attaching painless, non-invasive sensors to his or her scalp and recording the signals received. With this map, neurofeedback protocols are tailored to the individual’s needs. qEEG mapping and Neurofeedback training are conducted in a comfortable office setting, at our Center, utilizing state-of-the-art computer-assisted equipment.

Psychotherapy for Teens and Young Adult Women

Ms. Honaker has been working with teens and young adult women for many years. As an employer and specialist in brain functioning, she is very interested in teens and their development. It is a profound experience and honor to offer a time, place, and opportunity for young women to have a forum that is safe and therapeutic to voice their opinions, perspectives and tough emotional places. It is very inspiring and more than amazing to witness and work with the strength and struggle of teenage girls and young adult women.

neuroAgility’s Family Integration Sessions/ Program (FIZ)

Treatment for youth ADD / ADHD

neuroAgility works with many children and teens. It is imperative that parents understand neurofeedback and the work their children are doing. It is also critical that parents and families understand that their family system is about to change, as the person doing the neurofeedback training is about to change their brain, we want to work with the family system so it can support and notice changes that are easing the system’s functionality. When home life is supportive, organized, consistent, structured, and fun ~ there is a much higher chance of success for the neurofeedback work. We have found that when everyone is working, the system looks for and allows change to happen.

When you come in for your consultation with neuroAgility, we will fill you in on our FIZ program and decide at that time if it seems like a good fit for your family.
